Professor David Keirsey is author of the Keirsey Temperament Sorter. This links human behavioral patterns to four temperaments and sixteen character types. Each temperament has its own unique qualities and shortcomings, strengths and challenges. Each springs from an interaction of the two basic dimensions of human behavior: what we say and what we do.
The four groups are: Guardian, Idealist, Artisan, Rational. There is no group better than the other, but knowing the characteristics of the group we are part of, it would be a real help to understand us better.
