Techcrunch UK
TechCrunch.com is well known throughout the blogging and tech community. It has a plethora of articles relating to new start-ups and tech news. Here's how they describe themselves:
TechCrunch, founded on June 11, 2005, is a weblog dedicated to obsessively profiling and reviewing new Internet products and companies. In addition to new companies, we will profile existing companies that are making an impact (commercial and/or cultural) on the new web space. TechCrunch is edited by Michael Arrington, who also writes a companion blog, CrunchNotes.
TechCrunch UK has recently launched fronted by Sam Sethi:
Sam Sethi is a London based entrepologist and consultant. Sam has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years for companies like Microsoft, Netscape, Gateway Computers and CMGi, in a variety of senior technical and marketing roles. Sam has also experienced the joy and pain of running his own start-up company which won NMA's Best New Business of the Year Award in 2004. More recently Sam has been working as a freelance consultant with companies such as MSN UK and BT, helping develop their Web 2.0 strategies.
I look forward to reading more articles from TechCrunch UK and hopes it builds as big an audience as it's US counterpart.
