It's time to change your life, right? It's time to get happier. Whatever you have been doing up to this point hasn't worked so something needs to change, and soon. You've read all the personal development books you can get your hands on and you still feel stuck in a rut. Why isn't this happy stuff easier?
Well it certainly can be and you don't have to waste anymore time feeling blue. We tend to forget that happiness is an inside job and if we want to be happier, it all starts with us. Still, for some, that's easier said than done. These super powerful quotes make it even easier for you now. As long as you remember to repeat them daily. A few of them, one of them or all of them.
Keep in mind positive self talk really is one of the most effective and simplest ways to shift your energy and your mood. It provides everything you need to turn a bad day into an awesome and happy day.
1. Life is a blessing and we should not take it for granted.
But we do, still. There are many of their last breaths who didn't get a chance to do half the things they wished they had wanted to. Embrace life and all its glory.
2. Always look for something positive, even in bad moments, and you will be able to handle things better.
Not everyday is going to be a good day. how we handle bad situations can make or break our demeanor for the rest of the day (or week even). Learn to handle things with some positivity.
3. What people think of you is none of your business.
We aren't going to make everybody like us all the time. The sooner you realize that and give up the belief that everyone should like you, the happier you will be.
4. Be nice to people on your way up because you may need them on your way down.
Too many of us step on others on our way up and forget about them. Don't do that. You may need them again one day.
5. Keeping company with negative people will hurt you in the long run.
If you can dump them, then do so, if you can't, then avoid them as much as you can or simply change the topic of conversation if it's always heavy with negativity. Eventually they will get hint.
6. Nothing changes if nothing changes.
This is the simplest of them all but people still don't get it. We want change and we want it now but we aren't really ready to take the steps to change. Start taking steps. Change is great and can only lead you down the path of happiness.
7. Create a life that you will love, not everyone else.
We still are desperately trying to please everyone else all the time and the only things that brings us are misery, stress and frustration. I don't see any happiness in that. Do you. Never mind the rest.
8. Don't worry about how long it will take to reach your goals, the time will pass anyway.
Everything takes time. Anything that is going to make us happy or bring us great joy in the long run is going to take some time. What else are you going to do with that time? Sit around and wish you had acted on your dreams?
9. What ' s done is done: leave yesterday behind.
You can't change the past or what happened to you. You can use it to create your new future but you can't keep dragging it up to the present and revisiting it. It will change nothing. It already happened. Let it go.
10. Get out of your comfort zone and try new things.
Things you've always wanted to do but were too afraid to do them. Remember nothing changes if nothing changes. Life begins on the other side of your comfort zone. Right now you are simply existing, going through the motions. Didn't you always want to go skydiving?
This is the only life you have here. The things you want to do, you should do. Do them all, do them today. Don't wait for the right time to do anything. The time is right, right now. You ' ll be so much happier.
