A lot of people have been using EFT to help release their limiting beliefs with great effect and I wanted to explain a little about how to use it. This video is a very brief look at EFT and how you can use it to change your life for the better.
I first discovered it over 12 years when I signed up for the manual and have been receiving emails from Gary Craig ever since. It is one of the tools which has helped me in my life and I think you will love it if you start using it as well.
I am not affiliated in any way with the company. You can download the manual at www.emofree.com and the other ebook I mentioned in the video can be downloaded here Attracting Abundance with EFT
The video is by no means a comprehensive look at EFT it is a very brief introduction and to really get you thinking about it and trying it out for yourself.
If you have any stories about using EFT to help in your life I would love to hear about them in the comments below.

Hi Joao, I didn’t quite understand the question here. Can you explain what you mean.
Steven,
I think Joao is expecting to be able to see instant results.

Hi Steven,
Wow that’s quite a story about the stock exchange and the bankruptcy etc – that must have been a really rough time.
Thanks for the info on EFT, this is not something I know a lot about. I must admit I did feel a bit of prawn this morning, tapping myself all over and saying “money”! but, like the saying goes – it only feels kinky the first time! I will follow the links you mention and find out more about this.
Thanks mate.
Gareth
Hi Gareth. It was one of the best lessons I ever learned about money and life and without that lesson I wouldn’t be writing here today.
I think you’ll find the concept of EFT interesting and worth trying to get to grips with.
Steven,
I just came across your website and I totally love it! This is right up my ally
I have been using EFT for some years now, and I am blown away with it’s results.
I love the video too, you come across very well.
One recommendation I have which has helped me tremendously is to always add a round with a statement that is more general, opening the possibility of clearing blocks we are not even aware of, for example: “this block I have keeping me away from my goal”. Some rounds on this may cause it to surface, or sometimes even help without being fully exposed.

Nice intro, Steven. I’ve dabbled in EFT, but I’ve never gone very far with it. This makes me think it just might be time to dive in a little deeper. Thanks for posting this.

HI Curt, thanks for the comments and the links to the other videos.
Hi Steven.
Interesting stuff here. I went ahead and did the things you did in the video.
Your example there about your personal stake in that tech crash sure was a message-filled story. While it is cool to look at now in retrospect, at the time it must have been a large weight.
Good to see you in video again. Smart move removing the green screen for the back, as this looks better in my view.

Hi Armen, good to see you here and thanks for the comments.
The stockmarket crash is a good story to tell now, but it was horrendous at the time, not a period of my life I wish to visit again
The green screen was a pain and not needed at all, but it’s cool, I’m learning as I go along.
Steven, I love EFT and I know that it definitely works. I once had an idea of writting down all of the different negative emotions/experiences I had in the past and tapping on all of them one a time to release them. Well, I think I tapped on couple and then got lazy and forgot about it:) I can imagine what a difference it would have made in my life if I tapped on all of them.
Hi Lana, thanks for sharing that. I think that would have been an extremely powerful thing to do in your life. I am glad you have positive experiences with EFT as I think it is a great tool to add to a collection of self help tools.
Steven,
EFT is such a powerful and flexible tool. It can be used in so many different settings and situations. When I’ve mentioned it to some people they look at me in total disbelief. However, I think one of the things to be aware of with EFT, is you don’t really have to believe in it.
Thanks for the video

Paul
.-= Paul´s last blog ..A place for everything and everything in its place =-.
Hi Paul, you’re absolutely right, you don’t have to believe in it for it to work and that’s one of the great things about it. Thanks for all your support.
Hi Steve, you’ve just featured a post on one of my favorite techniques. I have pretty good experiences with EFT using on a personal basis, on family and on clients. I have “tested” it on a variety of situations ranging from physical, emotional and even spiritual situations. I use EFT almost every day. When coupled with a few other techniques, it can be very powerful!

Hi Evelyn, thanks for your input on this. It would be great to hear your experiences with EFT, maybe a guest post would be good
Steven, thank you for your EFT video. As someone who professionally uses Oriental medicine and energy medicine in Japan, I, too was very interested in EFT. Three years ago I got the manual and Gary’s entire set of DVDs and had a good look. Tapping key points on the body can really work because you are tapping energy pathways, or junction points, to bring about shifts in the energy field which alter your energy vibration or frequency. There can actually be a fundamental change, even at the cellular level. I think that EFT can work very effectively for many people – sometimes dramatically, because it works as self-hypnosis. I have also come to think that there is a cultural component in EFT which does not translate well into Japanese, for example. We experimented with EFT in Japanese, but were not satisfied with the results, and we found other ways of working with mental and emotional frameworks to be much more effective. What I like about EFT in the West is that it is self-directed, and gives you a tool you can use simply and often for self-work. The more you learn to work with yourself and on yourself, the better, because you draw on your own inner resources. Working at the inner level, where your real voice lies, is the only way to bring about lasting change. And as Paul said, EFT is not a matter of belief (just as energy pathways are not a matter of belief). Tapping with intention is the key – I believe tapping triggers a physical response which combines with your mental motivation to cause significant shifts in your perception, and your energy field changes. As you can see from my comments, it’s all about energy for me! Warm wishes from the mountains – and thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog – Catrien Ross.

Hi Catrien, thanks for a wonderful comment and fro brining your experiences to the blog.
I totally agree with what you say about tapping actually combines a physical action with a mental process and the two together are extremely powerful.
I think energy, spiritual, mental, emotional etc is very important to drive us forward.
Thanks for stopping by again, nice to see you becoming a regular.
I’m wary of this concept, since (from what little I know) it’s similar to Dianetics and other get-happy-quick pseudo-sciences. I’m interested in your explanation, but unfortunately, the bad audio quality in the video makes it hard for me to understand your accent. However, I’ll do as you suggested and go get the manual from the official site.

Hi Fekket.
I would give it a try, there’s nothing to lose and potentially everything to gain. Let me know what you think after reading the manual.
I didn’t think the audio was bad at all, maybe it’s just my accent
Steven,
Thanks for the interesting EFT video blog.
I learned about EFT around 4-5 months ago. A friend of mine recommend it and suggested that I check out some YouTube videos on it. When I first learned that it involved tapping, the whole concept sounded pretty strange (and I am a very open-minded person when it comes to things like this!).
However, once I tried EFT, I quickly learned how beneficial it can be. While it sounds too good to be true, I know it has really worked for me.
I was actually taught a slightly different EFT method. The first step in the process was almost exactly the same. Though, I was taught to tap on the side of my hand like you showed in the video. But I will give your preferred method a try.
However, instead of just saying “money” during the tapping, I was told to go through two rounds of tapping where something like the following two statements would be said during each round:
1. “Releasing my limiting beliefs about money.”
2. “I can earn much more than $100,000 per year.”
Also, the last few tapping points were the top and sides of the head instead of the sides of four fingers and the side of the hand.
Although there are some differences, it definitely seems like there is more than one way to make EFT work.
While I haven’t used EFT a lot, I plan on using it much more in the future.
I should also mention that I have meditated for the past 2-3 years and have now made it a daily habit. Meditation has made my life so much better.
.-= Greg Blencoe´s last blog ..Join me in the Michael Losier law of attraction community =-.
Hi Greg. I think there are a few variations on using EFT. I believe Paul McKenna only does one round so it only takes about 1 minute to do a full session. I prefer a slightly longer process, it makes me feel as if I am working a little for the change
EFT combined with meditation is an absolutely fantastic way to change your life for the better and it creates such a powerful energy force within you, it’s an amazing feeling.
Interesting. And I’d never heard of EFT. It is however one of the first self development techniques that does not appeal to me in the slightest as I watch you do it. I guess I’m too meat and potatoes. But I will follow through and read it up at some point because……why not? Maybe an explanation of the science might click with me.
Very interesting though – love hearing about new things that have been of help to others. Very cool of you to add your humbling story of bankruptcy and your vid loses nothing ditching the green screen.
Hi Rosie, good to see you back here. Ah, you should give this a try Rosie, nothing to lose. Try it for a week and let me know how you get on
Thanks for the kind words regarding the videos
Hey Steve, I have also had the EFT manual for many years, it’s an extremely interesting approach. I actually find all the energy therapies to be fascinating. History shows that the oriental cultures have a much deeper understanding of our energy centers and flow than we do in the west.
Seems you and I also had a similar stock market experience Steve. Some lesson come with a high price tag attached, that’s for sure. I’m glad it’s a lesson we will never need to repeat.

It was worth £40,000 to get the lessons I learned, although I would have rather paid a few hundred pounds
That’s a bundle Steve. I don’t suppose it would be any consolation to say that compared to some of us you got off relatively easy. You know how futures contracts leverage your potential in the market. Well, that leverage works both ways. I think we both must have really needed that lesson to grow. Otherwise we would never have paid so much for it. Now it’s time for parallel success my friend.

I love EFT and today making a video on tapping into abundance.
I use it all the time to shift beliefs, have used it successfully to lower blog pressure http://www.abundancehighway.com/how-i-used-eft-to-lower-my-blood-pressure/
I also find it goes hand in hand with LOA and something I use everyday. There are some great resources too- You have inspired me to make an eft resource page as there are many wonderful free resources on the web.

Hi Steven,
Nice video!
I knew this from Paul McKenna as TFT (Thought Field Therapy). I use a slightly different version of it to overcome overhelm.
The most important think is that it works, no matter if we call it EFT or TFT. I enjoyed your approach.
Listening to your back-story I see that we went through the same kind of hell.
Have a great day ahead!
Mario
.-= Mario´s last blog ..How To Do A Cool Dance And Burn Some Belly Fat =-.
Hi Mario. There were different names being banded about but I think the general consensus stuck with EFT. You’re totally correct, it doesn’t matter what you call it as long as it works and there are millions of people swear by it.
It seems a lot of us have went through the same hell in the past
Coach Rosie,
I had a very similar initial reaction to EFT as you. But after I tried it, my opinion completely changed.
Hello Steve,
I never heard this before, but I can connect the EFT with the Energy flows in the human body. By tapping these points, simply can relive the positive energy and that makes the person stronger and positive. That is my own believe. Thank you for the interesting video.
PS: The pressure point I found in some areas on my body simply a little painful.
That indicates that there is a blockage of energy there. Have to work on this, I suppose.
Thank you, great video!
Zuzanna
.-= ZuzannaM´s last blog ..TALL MOUNTAIN =-.
Hi Zuzanna, you’ll be able to judge from the comments that a lot of people find it really useful and it would be great to hear what you think about it when you try it.
The ‘Sore spot’ I was talking about in the video is a blockage of energy and lymph fluid as well, which flows along the same paths as the energy paths in our body.
Thanks for your comments Zuzanna, always great to see you here.
Hey, great post Steven. I like the video without the colorful background as it seems more natural. I’ve tried EFT before with the manual. I’ve even read up upon, but it didn’t work for me.
The problem I had was that it was very time consuming to do it on “everything mental and emotional” problem that I had. I know I have OCD, and being a person who has that, there are many obsessions that cause conflict in my life. Doing all the tapping techniques, as well as the counting in your head as described in the manual if I remember correctly, made me even more obsessed with doing it perfectly also created more anxiety for me sometimes.
I might go back to it, but I think if we go through the pain, develop a ritual where we change our thoughts to something that solves the “deep roots” of our problems, then it’s more instant and not as time consuming. That’s just what I think.
.-= Hulbert´s last blog ..Tony Robbins and Why =-.
Hi Hulbert. A lot of people just do the tapping without the ’9 Gamut process’ which is the counting part. I just use the 3 step process of ‘the setup’ and two rounds of ‘the sequence’. I suppose if you have a lot of issues it can seem quite daunting. Again, you can modify it, once you are used it it, to only doing 1 round of the sequence which only takes a minute and do it 10 times per day and you’re good to go.
Hmm interesting. Never hear of it before but unblocking certain beliefs will be advantageous for me personally. I’ll check it out.

Steven – I hadn’t heard of this particular therapy. I’m always a little skeptical of therapy that isn’t administered by trained professionals. It seems from the comments as though this approach works for some, although not as clear if there results are sustainable. I’ll do a little more research to see if this is something that could add to my range of skills.
Thanks for a new idea,
Phil
.-= Phil – Less Ordinary Living´s last blog ..How to Start =-.
Hi Phil, I know exactly what you’re talking about. However, we in the west have this belief that someone has to go through 5 years of training before they are qualified to give advice on anything. I don’t take that point of view at all, and take a more pragmatic view, if it works just do it.
It would be great to hear your thoughts on it once you have done some research as I do believe it is a good tool.
Thanks for stopping by Phil.
Steven:
Very interesting and great explanation for those of us who are not really familiar with EFT. I think the best thing we can do is expose and educate ourselves to those things that have proven to work well for people and allowed them to remove any limiting beliefs or doubts and achieve what they were trying to do. I think it is all about finding what works best for you and figuring out that approach that you can believe in and consistently do. The only way we are able to identify what will work for us is by learning about all the approaches that are available to us. I am intrigued by EFT and thank you for introducing me to something I probably would have not come across anytime soon.
.-= alternaview – Sibyl´s last blog ..One Little Secret We Should Know if We Really Want to Do Something Well =-.
Hi Sibyl, I am so happy that you haven’t heard of this before. It is something to look forward to; learning a new technique to help in your life.
Let us know what you think of it after a bit of investigation.
EFT is very quick and easy to do. Most of us want a quick fix, which you can get with EFT, but not all the time.
Think about…if you have had your problem for so long, why would you drop it so quickly?
The change would be too quick for you too handle. There is a natural law of waiting.
i.e. You want a baby and you got one tomorrow, like Disney by stork, you’d freak out. Your not physically, mentally, emotionally or financially ready. Or a car. Even if you got one tomorrow, which is very possible. You’d have to sell your ‘old’ one. Find somewhere to park it, insure it. These all take time.
The more EFT you do, the quicker it gets. EFT is only limited by your imagination and how much your willing to do it. EFT always works, you just might not always be aware of it.
Happy Travels

.-= Andrew´s last blog ..The EFT NOT NOT Game =-.
Hi Andrew, great comment.
That’s the thing with EFT, with some things it can work almost instantly which gives you a little confidence to keep working with it and working it on the bigger issues in life.
What you say makes sense about the law of waiting and being able to handle the emotional and mental side of the changes which will take place after using EFT.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a great comment.
I was initially skeptical about EFT too but after I ordered Gary Craig’s complete study material several years ago, I was converted instantly after seeing the results for myself.
What I particularly like about EFT is that it works *with* you no matter how dark your mindset is. It doesn’t require false positivity or affirmations that you’re in no mood to make.
Persistance is important as is correctly identifying the issue. I always tell people that going in with a “one-minute wonder” mindset could leave them a tad disappointed if their issue is deep-rooted or has several layers.
