About Steven AitchisonI am celebrating 1 year of blogging. Yep that’s right, this blog is 1 year and 5 days old . Hard to believe that it is still going and getting stronger.
It was definitely a struggle for the first few months of blogging, since I only got my first comment after 2 months of blogging, I received my first adsense click after 1 month, and my first link after 2 months.
Now after 12 months I am getting 30,000 visitors per month, have around 1000 subscribers, earning about $600 per month, directly and indirectly from blogging, member of a blog network, have spoken to over 500 readers about the blog and it’s posts, have written an eBook, have made some fantastic contacts in the field and I am still loving blogging.
Regular visitors to this blog will have noticed that I have changed the whole look of the blog. The other style was looking messy and cluttered and I needed a clear out and a tidy up.
I think this is a great theme from WPDesigner, it is cleaner and much tidier than the last theme. The colours, I think, are more relaxing for a personal development site like this.
Let me know what you think of the new theme. Also if you are a newbie to blogging I would like to invite you to ask any questions about blogging you may have and I will answer them all as best I can.

Congrats on hitting one year old! You have made some great progress in one year, and I can only imagine how much bigger and better everything will be this time next year after you have applied what you learned during the first year.
My blog is coming up on the 1 year anniversary, too, so we’ve been doing this for about the same amount of time. Glad to see that we are both ready for Round 2!
