My kids are in an international school here in Madrid and I have the pleasure of lots of British mommy friends. I have to agree with you, these ladies are DEFINITELY not into blogging, especially with anything personal. One lovely lady asked me the other day "What is it with you Americans? We would never share our thoughts, ideas, feelings on a blog! We'd call up a friend and chat over a cup of tea!" I'm all for that, but to spread good thoughts and ideas, wouldn't that make for slow going? Hi Annabel,

I don't know who decided for us all that newspapers, television, movies should be filled with the worst news and most violent images. Frankly, I don't think they inspire goodness or send us in a more positive direction. I know that we are getting images of very disturbed waters, but what about all the moments those waters are calm, beautiful, at peace? Shouldn't we rejoice in those and let them motivate us in a positive way! Goodoodles is my effort at getting the good out there. Thanks for sharing yours and all these sites that inspire!
