Wow, I’m truly grateful for being included on this list with so many other amazing bloggers, some of which I haven’t come across so I’m looking forward to checking those out.
I’ve been blogging since December 2005 (almost a grandad in blogging terms) but was a bit comment-shy until recently when I decided I was going to create a legacy along with so many other wonderful bloggers.
Speaking of which I will soon be coming up to my 500th post close to the time of birthday in March and would love it if all of you could celebrate it with me and do something special to mark the occasion.
Thank you Steve!
Amit Sodha – The Power Of Choice´s last blog ..A Quick Guide To Dealing With Negative People
Wow, 500 posts. I didn’t realise you had been writing for 4 years now, that’s brilliant. It shows you what a good strategy commenting is for getting your name known to a wider audience. What do you have in mind for celebrating?
Steven Aitchison´s last blog ..52 Personal Development Blogs To Watch in 2010
I’ll definitely have a good think about that and I’ll keep you posted!

With deep gratitude, Steven, thank you for the light you shine out into the world…something I feel very deeply tonight.

Dragos Roua´s last blog ..The 7 Traits Of Highly Successful Bloggers
Dragos, yourself, Jonathan and Robin have been an inspiration to me last year and I strive to be the best I can with the help of all three of you and others. Whenever I read one of your posts I always thing ‘time to step up a gear’, so I am constantly trying to make my posts better and more informative than my previous ones.
I feel this is going to be a fantastic year for a lot of us and I know you’ll be in on it.
Yes our challenge is definitely on, I am just writing up the contents section of my third book and will have it approved by next week and I have another two which have been started, so five books by the end of the month is on, what about you?
Steven Aitchison´s last blog ..52 Personal Development Blogs To Watch in 2010
About our challenge: I have 2 books approved and ready for purchase on CreateSpace estore (one of them approved in Amazon too), another 2 books uploaded and ready to be approved (getting slow because of some cover issues) and the fifth is 20% written. So, yes, I think I can make it to 5 approved books by the end of the month.
I can’t tell you how energized I feel because of this

Steven Aitchison´s last blog ..52 Personal Development Blogs To Watch in 2010
Hi Steven,
You are fantastically generous for having put together this tremendous list! The amount of work and time that went into this does not go unnoticed. As a new-ish blogger, I am still making my way around the PD circuit. I’ve gotten to know a few of these great bloggers but there are many on this list who I have yet to discover. So thank you for leading me to them and their wisdom as I bookmark this post to refer back to. And finally, I am deeply honored that you’ve included me as I’ve really enjoyed your blog, too.
Many thanks,
Belinda
Hi Belinda, it’s great to see you here. I hope you enjoy getting to know the other bloggers as well, it will be time well spent. I hope you have a fantastic 2010.
Steven Aitchison´s last blog ..52 Personal Development Blogs To Watch in 2010
Hi Steven.
I like how you picked some key posts from everyone here, and the descriptions let us know some relevant points about each person. I’m glad to be a part of this set, and 2010 certainly is a year for the grasping. I’m not sure if it worked subconsciously, but hours after I read this article, along with your words about my past videos, I ended up recording a 3rd video for my site. That will probably go up within a week.
Cool stuff here.
Armen Shirvanian´s last blog ..An Interview With Chris Guillebeau
Hi Armen,
I have enjoyed your other videos and I think you are an unconscious comic, which could be developed to help deliver your message. I hope we can work together in 2010 and wish you all the best with everything you do in 2010
Steven Aitchison´s last blog ..52 Personal Development Blogs To Watch in 2010
Great list Steve. I haven’t heard of half these blogs. There are some brilliant writers out there. Thank you for finding them and sharing their websites.
Over the past 12 months I’ve collected a list of Personal Development blogs that I have included on my resources page. The top section has Mind Mapping resources, however if you scroll down about a third of the way down the page you will see a list of around 150 Personal Development blogs I keep an eye on regularly – http://ow.ly/WJgd
Hi Adam, I just checked out your page. That’s a great list of blogs you have collected over there and the mind mapping blogs are great as well. Will need to check your site out some more (jeez, another blog to keep me off my writing shcedule
)

Hi Steven – Thanks for sharing your list. It’s wonderful pool of resources for me esp. since the theme of my website is techno-pd.
Hi Devendra thanks for the comments I appreciate them. I have to say you have a fantastic blog with some great content and a great message. Your blog could be huge if you really wanted it to be as childrens safety on the net is of utmost importance to all parents and schools. Are you working on the blog a lot, I see you don’t have a regular posting schedule? Honestly, this could be very lucrative for you and you could get yourself known as an expert on Childrens safety on the net.

Thanks for the mention kind sir.
I like this list a LOT! And no, not just because I’m on it, but because it has picked on some of the lesser known bloggers in out field that deserve more recognition.
Good work fella!
Tim Brownson´s last blog ..Paying It Forward With Life Coaching
Thanks Tim, your blog is always a resource I go to when I need inspiration and a different view on life. Your book ‘How to be Happy and Rich‘ was also a great find. All the best for 2010
Holy Rock Your Socks Off! Fantastic List Steven! Although I follow and am familiar with quite a few of these Personal Development bloggers I’ve found some new ones of course. Great resource of which I’ll be sharing (Already did on twitter) and connecting with new peeps! You put some serious TLC in putting it together. Much appreciated my friend!
Tony Teegarden´s last blog ..You’re Not Being Realistic
Hi Tony, thank you for your kind words. I hope you enjoy reading some of the new blogs.
Thanks for including me in your list Steven! These lists are great resources for discovering inspiring blogs. For me in particular, because I decided last week to clear my feed reader (after abandoning it for six months) and start over. I’ve already found some new ones (and resubscribed to your feed).
Thanks again!
Thanks Lodewijk, I hope the blogging sees a great 2010 for you and I’m looking forward to connecting again this year.
Hi Steven,
What a fabulous list. I visit some of these blogs, but there’s a lot of new ones for me to check out, too.
Thank you for all the work you put into this post. Showcasing not only the blogs but some of their posts was not an easy feat. Fabulous job!
Barbara Swafford´s last blog ..Don’t Shoot Me

Oh!!! My!!! Word!!! I am just psyched out my pea brain to be included in ANYTHING that you are doing. And to appear here not only on your site, but with all these remarkable people literally moved me to tears. I just called my husband and work and told him. THAT’S how much it means to me.
Dear Steven, you’ve no idea how much this means to me. I’ve learned and am learning so much from you. Your support and encouragement is a beautiful beautiful gift in my life. Three of your greatest gifts are your kindness, your creativity and your willingness to be what you really are….truly UNIQUE!!
I am just HUGGING YOU!!!!!

This is a GREAT honor.
Thank you SO much my friend.

Hey Steven, this really is amazing. I’m surprised you thought of me, but thankful that you did. I’ve just been so busy with school now (like the rest of us), it’s like I can’t don’t have the time to read all the amazing blog like I used to. As they say, college comes first, and know it’s my top priority. Blogging comes in a close second, but I don’t think I’ll ever stop blogging. It’s been great fun meeting everyone here and finding a wonderful family of likeminded individuals.
Thanks again Steven, and, from the bottom of my heart, live well and on your own terms

John´s last blog ..Hatred Only Serves to Hurt, Not to Help
Hi John, I know you’re studying hard and you’re doing great to keep blogging on top of your college work. I wish you everything you wish for yourself over the coming year.
This is just a superb list Steven. I was going to build a smaller list myself but with this one, and seeing so many bloggers that I already know and enjoy, I’ll just link to your list instead of building a new one. You’ve put a LOT of effort into this clearly and I really appreciate the mention of my site and the 100 lists. Armen of TimeLessInformation (yup, you included him) actually got me started on the lists. I just challenged more people to do the same!!!! Thanks again.
Mike King´s last blog ..Action Creates Change
Hi Mike, glad you cleared up who started this Mega list thing
I am so grateful to yourself and Armen. Hope you have a fantastic 2010 with your life and your blog and hope to connect more.
Hey Steven, What a wonderful way to start off my new year
.
.)
I always love to read personal development blogs. They help me see things from new perspective and grow. This list will definitely be referred to when I want to get inspired. ( Will stumble, tweet, and delicious it
I am so very grateful for you adding my blog to the list. I told my friends and parents about it too.
Even though I write about various things, my biggest “passion topic” is personal development and it’s amazing how you were able to perceive so much about me just by browsing through my blog.
About the girlie thing (LOL): There’s actually many reasons why I decorate my web pages in that girlie fashion. Even though I’m only 32 and have gone through a lot of very bad experiences. Going through those awful things has made me see that being an optimist is the only way to be happy in this world. I know harsh reality. I’ve seen it. I purposely choose to focus on beautiful and good things. Because if I don’t, I’ll be wasting my life in misery. The “girlie” images are a true reflection of this inward decision of mine. Even though they are unconventional for a blog I choose to give a tone of peace to my readers. I want people to feel that joy when they come to my blog. I want my own soul to feel that. It’s wonderful that you were able to see past the girlie first impression. Many won’t and that’s ok. I guess I’m making a statement that it’s alright to be out of the box – LOL.
Thank you so much for writing this beautiful list and for including me in it. Warms my heart ♥.
Your friend,
Eren
Eren Mckay´s last blog ..Discover the Power of Allowing Yourself to Cry
Hi Eren, it’s good to hear about your Girlie blog
and how it came to be. Although it’s unconventional it makes it stand out which is a great thing. I hope you have a fantastic 2010
Steven,
I came here to finish up with the comments I received and found myself on your list! How cool is that?!? I know maybe 10 on this list and the first thought as I looked it over was, “Oh great…he’s picked out a lot of new blogging buddies for me!”
Now I am honored to be on your list and I’m also sooooo grateful. I thank you from the bottom of my very big heart. Let me know if I can do anything for you. Ever! Hugs, T.
Tess The Bold Life´s last blog ..Why I Love To Blog
Hi Tess, you are very welcome. It’s great to meet people in our niche and learn from them as well as befriend them with comments and collaborative work.
This list will help me a lot.
I am the type of person who is always looking for ways to improve myself.
I have adopted the same kind of philosophy as Ben Franklin who made it a point to practice at least one virtue every week.
It is said of Franklin that he never put them all together, but it was great if you caught him practicing the particular virtue on a week that favored what you needed.
So, you have given me enough self improvement fodder to last the whole year.
You couldn’t have given me a better gift.
I am grateful
Leone Parette´s last blog ..New Article: Saving Free Form Play Recesses

Stephen Welton´s last blog ..10 Tips To Help You Build Resiliency
Thanks for your kind comments Stephen I appreciate it.
Heaps of great new blogs to check out and a lot of old favourites too. I often wonder if Brits don’t read as much personal development as North Americans, it it’s just not so much a part of the British psyche…. My blog attracts way more North Americans than any other nationality even though when I started it I assumed it would appeal mainly to Brits since I’m from the UK with a few Aussies as I live in Australia. Lots to learn in blogging isn’t there?! Anyway, thanks for including the list!
Hi Annabel,
April from http://www.goodoodles.com over here in Spain with similar demographics on my blog stats. My kids are in an international school here in Madrid and I have the pleasure of lots of British mommy friends. I have to agree with you, these ladies are DEFINITELY not into blogging, especially with anything personal. One lovely lady asked me the other day “What is it with you Americans? We would never share our thoughts, ideas, feelings on a blog! We’d call up a friend and chat over a cup of tea!” I’m all for that, but to spread good thoughts and ideas, wouldn’t that make for slow going?
Hi Annabel, I agree with you, 80% of my traffic comes from the US, personal development has still to catch up in the UK but we’re helping it along
Thanks for your comments.

Fantastic list, thanks. I will link to this from my website for my readers to benefit from. Thanks again
Hi Stephen,
Wow! I am new to this blogging thing and really appreciated your insightful list which shortened the path to some fantastic blogs! I started a blog last month…www.goodoodles.com because its part of my journey and my need to create some positive, good content which I hope will make a difference to somebody(ies). I don’t know who decided for us all that newspapers, television, movies should be filled with the worst news and most violent images. Frankly, I don’t think they inspire goodness or send us in a more positive direction. I know that we are getting images of very disturbed waters, but what about all the moments those waters are calm, beautiful, at peace? Shouldn’t we rejoice in those and let them motivate us in a positive way! Goodoodles is my effort at getting the good out there. Thanks for sharing yours and all these sites that inspire! And any feedback or comments on goodoodles…always welcome! Happy Tuesday! April
Steven,
This is a really great list. I enjoyed going through it and learning how you came across each site. I haven’t spent much time on your site – but definitely look forward to learning more about you and what you write. I hope to one day be on a list like this!!! Thanks again!
