This is a Sunday Siesta special.
Over the last few weeks I have featured many personal development blogs, but recently noticed that most of them are from the male members of the personal development circuit. So this week I wanted to highlight a few great female personal development bloggers.
Some of them you might not have heard of but they are excellent writers and bloggers and the information is fantastic. I hope you enjoy.
13 Fantastic Female Personal Development Bloggers
AnnetteColby.com – Dr Annette Colby is an intuitive growth expert and is the author of 3 books. Her blog is a great read and is updated every week or so. Her posts are uplifting and inspirational. Here are some of her best posts:
NakedInEden.com – Robin Easton is one of my favorite personal development bloggers. She is funny, a bit off the wall, very spiritual and has a genuine heart. All her posts are a treat to read and she writes a post every 1 -2 weeks, however her posts are worth waiting for. Here are some of her good ones:
SereneJourney.com – Sherri is another great blogger who I met on the A List Blogging Bootcamp. Her posting schedule is every few days and there are some great posts in there. here are some of the good ones:
SeeingGood.com – Lori Deschene writes about how to live a bolder, more peaceful life. Her posts are more personal in nature but all have a lesson to be learned. Here are some of her best posts:
ThinkSimpleNow.com – Tina Su is possibly the most well know female personal development blogger out there and with good reason. Her blog posts are always a joy to read and she has a loyal following. Her design is striking in its simplicity and even though she has been away for a few months she still continues to attract the attention of readers worldwide. Her posting schedule has changed dramatically over the last year but all her blog posts are worth a read. Here are some of her best ones:
BalanceInMe.com – Anastasiya Goers is another blogger I met at the A List Blogging Bootcamp and has made great strides in her blogging over the last few months. Her design is great and her writing is conversational in style and always willing to help with a story and a comment. Here are some of her best posts:
GoodLifeZen.com – Mary Jaksch runs this gem of a blog and guess what, I found out about her at the bootcamp. This is another top blogger in the personal development niche and when you readeher work you’ll know why. She also helps Leo babauta run WriteToDone.com Here are some of her best posts:
QuestForBalance.com – Lisis writes this very successful blog with the technical help from FairyBlogMother. Lisis is a stay at home mom and writes for the blog every few days with an emphasis on inner development. Some of her best posts are:
CelestineChua.com – Celestine Chua is another great blogger and one who I admire a lot for her persistence and her work ethic. Celestine wrote a great guest post for Change Your Thoughts 5 Ways To Achieve Personal Excellence and I have read her blog ever since. Here are some of her best posts:
JennyMannion.com/healpain/ – Jenny Mannion is a blogger I stumbled upon last year and really took notice after a post Healing Lesson From The Labyrinth and ever since then have read her long posts with delight. A lovely soul and a great place to visit for a bit of peace and good reading. Some of her best posts are:
OnSimplicity.net – Sara is a relatively new blogger I’ve come across and I can’t understand why I haven’t seen her writing before, its great. Her blog is all about simplicity and shows us how to simplify our lives. Some of her best posts are:
LoveLifeGodSexMoney.com/ – Rosie Jones – Another blog I recently discovered. Rosie is a very talented individual, singer songwriter, personal development coach and lover of life. Her persona is larger than life. Please do not be put off by the blog design, it’s unconventional but there is some great material on there. Here are some of her best posts:
MindfulConstruct.com – Melissa Karnaze – Another blog I found out about at the A List Blogging Bootcamp (just shows you the quality of the bloggers who attended). A blog to help you understand and implement the intelligence of emotions in your life. She has a BS in Cognitive Science which she was inspired to take because of the film The Matrix (One of my Top 3 Films of all time) . Here are some of her best posts:
- What are the Definitions of Emotional Intelligence?
- Dysfunctional Beliefs and You
- Your Life is Your Construct
I really hope you have enjoyed meeting some great personal development bloggers and if I have missed anybody off the list I apologize. Please feel free to add a comment with your favorite female personal development blogger and I will make a list of readers favorites.

Thanks again. GREATLY appreciated.

You are a dear heart Steven to do this for all us gals. Very empowering for us women coming from a man. I am so touched and humbled to be part of this group. I’m also excited to about the opportunity to meet new and kindred people. What a gift you give us all, not only in honoring us, but in introducing us to each other.
Thank you dear friend.
Hugs,
Robin
Robin Easton´s last blog ..Bizarro Week
Hugs returned Robin.
I just felt the men were getting the spotlight every week, which was my fault
and the women are just as good as us guys, if not better.
Hi Stephen,
Wow, what a lovely thing to do. I’m honored to be in such great company. I’ve been following many of these lovely ladies but there are a few that are new to me.
Thanks again Stephen this is truly lovely!
Sherri

Hi Dani, thanks for visiting and leaving a comment.
Dear Steven, thanks so much for the feature! It’s an honor to be featured alongside all these wonderful female bloggers. I already know a number of the ladies on the list, and they’re all incredible, amazing individuals.
Separately, the new look at Change Your Thoughts is fabulous! Very clean look, easy on the eyes and a joy to surf. This is a terrific change!!
Celes | The Personal Excellence Blog´s last blog ..Launch of The School of Personal Excellence

Melissa Karnaze´s last blog ..Why I Don’t Defend the Matrix Sequels
Hi Melissa, honestly my gratitude goes out to you and everyone else here. I have learned a lot from the more seasoned bloggers as well as the newbie bloggers and you are a Matrix Geek which means you must be okay
Steven thank you so much for featuring my blog in your Sunday Siesta! This is such an honor for me.
I have just looked through the other blogs that you’ve picked and they are awesome. I hope to connect with the owners of those blogs and to find a lot of inspiring articles there.
Anastasiya´s last blog ..10 Most Important Secrets of Longevity
Thanks Anastasiya, it amazes me how many great bloggers there are out there
Awesome list Steven. Stumbled

Karlil´s last blog ..The 17 Conditions Of Lasting Love
Thanks for your support Nik
Really great to see such a productive group of lady writers, in our journey through life, our visions can become one track minded, and that is such a terrible shame, every situation in life should be looked at from many angles, and very often, which is shocking to say, ladies opinions can be overlooked, this is very wrong, this overlooking is often manufactured by men to keep face, as these ladies have better vision.
Great post, Steven! I recently started my own personal development blog so I’ll definitely enjoy and benefit from checking out more of your site and the other great bloggers you mentioned in this article!
Fantastic list! I know a few of them but the ones I don’t I will check out. Thanks!
Belinda Munoz´s last blog ..ALL CLEAR: FeedMedic Alert for thehalfwaypoint
Nice round up Steve, some I know well and others I am looking forward to getting to know. Thanks
Jonathan – Advanced Life Skills´s last blog ..Is it Really a Bad Thing to be Judgmental?
Hi Steven,
Thanks for this generous resource. It works for me on a number of levels:
a) It’s easy to ‘grab and go’ – get in and out quickly with valuable information;
b) You’ve done the ‘finding’ for me. This summary of high performers saves me so much time and energy searching and ’stumbling’;
c) Having the people, and a selection of their articles really helps. It adds context to your recommendations.
You set the bar high, Steven. Great work.
Best to you and your readers, Robin
Robin Dickinson´s last blog ..The time-life switch: peak productivity in an instant
Hey, Steven! I’m late to the party, but I have a good excuse… I’ve been without internet for a week! Can you believe it? That’s forever in this day and age!
Thanks for including me on your list here. I’m so thankful that you put together a list of women bloggers because, as you mentioned, most of the bloggers “out there” are men. It’s hard to come by a list like this. I am familiar with most of these women, and they are all fantastic. Can’t wait to check out the three that were new to me!
Have a Great Day!!!!
Thanks for putting this list together. There aren’t a ton of blogs out there that I enjoy reading. I’ll be sure to check these out. Take care, A.
Anita´s last blog ..How To Get Out of a Rut
Hi Steven. You have some great finds here. I’m off to explore the ones that I’m just hearing about. Thanks a ton!
Nea | Self Improvement Saga´s last blog ..50 Regrets and the Life Lessons to Learn From Them
I have to admit it, we women do rock! What a thrill to be on this list having checked out some of the other authors….now where to find the time to check them ALL out???!! I will though! It’s great to find new resources from such a trusted source.
Honoured, happy and eating chips to celebrate! Thanks Steven!
(Note to self – must stop over-using exclamation marks!)
I just found this post. Thank you for including me with so many amazing female bloggers! I already follow a few of them, and I’m excited to check out the others. =)
Lori´s last blog ..20 Bad Things I’m Glad Happened to Me This Year
Great list with some old favourites and some new names too. Go girls:) And as for you – thanks so much for taking the time to compile this list. Definitely one to bookmark for future reference.
Thanks for these links! It has always suprised me that there aren’t more female bloggers in the blogosphere. Thank you for pointing us directly towards some of them. I read that Wikipedia is predominantly male-written and updated as well. Since reading that I’ve become quite proactive in changing incorrect, incomplete, and slanted/biased information on Wikipedia.
