		<description>Hi Steven,

Nice post! It is good to see people out here telling it as it is! More people should take notes and do the same.

Keep it up!

<description>Thanks to Shafie and Mr. CV for two insightful comments!

Shafie, you&#039;re absolutely right! Money in itself is not good or evil, it&#039;s simply a symbol that represents value in time or commodities. How we use it determines whether it&#039;s good or evil.

Mr. CV, thanks for posting these very useful tips. I&#039;d also like to reference Robert Kyosaki&#039;s book: Rich Dad, Poor Dad in which he states that it&#039;s always a bad idea to take a job for money. Take a job to learn a skill while you get paid; then translate that skill into your own enterprise. That&#039;s his key to material wealth.

More lies about money and power in Dynamic Components of Personal Power available on my web site: www.JimBouchard.org!

Best thoughts,

<description>It&#039;s not about money when evaluating job offers. Jobs should be evaluated in terms of tangible and intangible values, i.e. salary and satisfaction. Here is a checklist for you to help identify what may be important to you. As an exercise you may like to convert these intangible benefits into monetary terms.

1. Starting Salary
2. Probable salary in 3 years,
3. Bonuses (Health Insurance, Vacation, Maternity Leave, Pension),
4. Hidden costs (Commuting costs, distances, dress code)
5. Opportunity for career progression,
6. Training and educational prospects,
7. Quality of work environment
8. Job Security,
9. Existing staff morale,
10.Opportunities for job adjustments for personal/family pursuits.</description>

		<description>Hi Steven

This is truly a brilliant post. I agree with mostly what the author said especially the part on limiting beliefs about money. However, he missed out one excuse that underachievers always use for not earning more money.

That excuse is &quot;Money is the root of all evil&quot;. Money is a tool created by humans. It is incapable of thoughts or emotions. Therefore, it cannot be evil. But how and what people use it for will determine whether it will be for good or evil purposes.

By the way, I also agree with the author that the best way to obtain financial wealth is through being your own boss aka starting your own business. And the best business you can venture into is the Internet Marketing business. It is a billion dollar industry with millions of niches, requires little capital and all you need to begin is a computer and internet connection and you can dress any way you like. So, it has the biggest opportunity with the most minimal risk for earning huge cash.

Once again great post. I will definitely be checking in more often.

Best Regards
