Awesome blog, Steven. Your writing is clear and to the point. I have been postponing my advertising in Adwords because I have heard horror stories about people wasting lots of cash… what would you recommend to people with limited marketing budgets? What is a good way to start without losing one’s shirt?

I have to second the recommendations on Mr. X (Chris McNeeny) guides to Adwords and Affiliate Marketing. I never made any real money until I read his stuff.

Hi Martin

My goal, initially, is to make $3000 monthly, $36,000 annually. I think this is very achievable. Remember $400 per month on 1 product. If I can get another 10 -20 products with the same return I am looking at $3000 – $6000 in profit after adword costs etc.

I see myself doing the affiliate marketing and getting more involved with the blog. I love the writing and would love to spend more time on it. That was my original goal, to give up work and write full time for the blog, however the blog isn’t making that much money, about $700 per month.

I’m curious. Do you have a goal as to how much you would like to see monthly and then annually? How much potential do you see with affiliate marketing for yourself and do you see any other ways to make money online outside this stream?
