I also have a habit of withdrawing cash every time I need it. I was afraid that the extra cash in hand would be in danger of impulse buying. Now that I’m used to spend money for useful things only, maybe it’s ok to have the the money for the week.

Great tips, but it only becomes ergonomic if the process of doing it doesn’t stress or discomfort us. Others may find it comfortable to do everything in one area, but there are also people who don’t.

The concept of living an ergonomic life reminds me of the context concept in GTD. David Allen encouraged us to group similar tasks together and do them at once.

The use of the term “ergonomic” is very creative; I’ve never thought that “ergonomic” is defined that way! Also the variety of examples in this post gives me new insights.
