Online earnings for May 2007
I can’t believe another month has gone in already. It’s
definitely true that the older you get the quicker time seems to pass.
I have been working harder this month on online earnings and have decided
to start posting my earnings every month. There are currently 5 sources
of revenue that I am currently using

It’s going to be a long time before I am able to give up my job and
become a pro blogger, but I am working on it.
I have been reading avidly everything to do with affiliate marketing just
now and bought Chris Carpenters Google
Cash eBook and it is has really opened my eyes to affiliate marketing. I
believe there is something in it but believe it is a lot harder than Chris
or anybody else makes out. However I am willing to learn everything I
can in my quest to become a pro blogger.
Google Adsense earnings this month should have been higher however the first
6 days of the month were at virtually zero earnings. I wrote to Google
to ask them to look at this but they advised nothing was wrong. So I
am hoping it will be higher and nearer the $100 in June.
Kontera earnings are getting better. I only started using them in April. I
toyed with the idea of dropping them however I believe it could be a good little
earner the more traffic I get.
Review-Me earnings came from the review I made for Hear-Hear.com I
don’t expect a lot of people asking for reviews but it is still worth
keeping as a source of revenue.
Sales of the eBook have been dire and as I mentioned earlier I think I was
being a little naïve about the amount I could sell. However I have
only promoted the book through this blog.
The
GoogleCash eBook special report was an okay little earner for doing nothing
really.
I have only started using ClickBank and Commissions Junction so don’t
expect a lot from them just now. The banner at the top for the south
beach Diet is from Commission Junction and I haven’t earned anything
yet. I will experiments with this.

I think when you actually write on-topic, you do a good job. But, in my opinion, you write wayyy too much about becoming a professional blogger and how much money you’ve made, how many ebooks you’ve sold and figuring out how you can make money from your site. The bloggers who make money blog about their topic, do it well, do it regularly, don’t talk about the business side of things to the public and, with hard work, the money follows. Your constantly posting about things that belong behind closed doors is off putting. Just being honest.

Hi Gerard thanks for your comments. I consistently get asked how much I earn and what my blog stats are and a whole bunch of other stats stuff. I think it’s useful for other bloggers and personal development fans who are looking for a way out of the rat race. I appreciate your feedback.
Your online earnings are quite diversified, Steven. I think that’s something all would-be problogger must learn. I get some good ideas here.
Maybe one source you could consider adding is Text Link Ads. It seems pretty popular in the blogosphere.

Thanks for sharing with your readers how you’re doing with your earnings, it is encouraging for the rest of us. I think we do learn from each other what to experiment with next. I have several blogs I’m experimenting with and when I find something working well for me I share it with my readers. Some blogs I stay strickly on the subject and then other blogs I share about making money with Google AdSense. There are a few tips and tricks I’ve used and it’s made a difference for me so I share it with others. You’ve taught me the value and power in stating your intentions (affirmations). Thanks for all your inspiration.
I just subscribe to your RSS. You have quite a number of RSS subscribers. Why don’t you monetize it with feedburner?

I have monitized it with feedburner. I am not up to speed on the FAN from feedburner. However I know I have made about $5 so far from it, but I don’t know how to optimize it yet and haven’t really paid attention.
