I think most of us suffer from the mentality of letting things pile up so that we will take care of it in one shot. This is our common misconseption because by the moment we prepare to do it, there's another voice that tells us to do it later.

I had such a resistance to clearing out clutter, but then when I finally did get around to doing it, I couldn't believe how good it felt. You never think much about clutter when it's all around you, but when it's gone, you definitely realize how much it's gone - and how wonderful it feels.

(Not that this is likely to keep me from accumulating more clutter!)

I agree. The other thing is that we also fill our minds with clutter. Focus on the main stuff and your life will be free of clutter!

Clutter is indeed overwhelming, especially if it continues to pile up. Later on, we will discover that there is a mountain of clutter waiting for us to organize it.
We always have time to clean the clutter. We are just full of excuses which causes our clutter to pile up.
