Guided meditation - meeting your future self
I have recorded a guided meditation as I have been asked a few times about
it in the past and I have just gotton round to it now.
This is a very powerful meditation and can often bring up interesting results
and answers to questions you might have been asking yourself.
The meditation itself is about you meeting your futre self and asking yourself
a question about any aspect of your life just now. It is used to alay
any fears you might have just now and works on the principle that you control
your own future but the thoughts your are thinking. By asking your future
self a question you can clarify and create powerful beliefs which will help
manifest your goals for life.
Please leave a comment about the meditation or drop me an e-mail.

I’ve hit PLAY button and soon after that I’ve heard that computer generated voice.Extremely annoying, stopped right away.
Comment by Steven Aitchison on 12 April 2007:
Sorry Michael, don’t quite understand what you mean by that
Comment by Michael M @ freshome on 12 April 2007:
Aaa … sorry.I don’t know why first time when I’ve tried to listen the podcast there was a voice like a computer, something like a fast forward, a voice who speaks very fast. Now is ok … I’ll come back with comments after I listen this podcast.

‘chipmunk effect’, got it sorted though. look forward to hearing what you think.

Ok I’m back …
I’ve listen to this podcast, and I’ve meet my future self, and I’ve asked the question “How to make more money fast ?” and he draw a picture like this - http://i18.tinypic.com/350uq15.jpg … but not black.I don’t know exactly the color. After that I’ve asked him another question, and he told me … that’s what you will do in future.
Can you help me a little ?
Comment by Steven Aitchison on 13 April 2007:
Hi Michael, You’re going to work with a sister company of Apple? who knows.
Comment by Kathie Clohessy on 13 April 2007:
Website being updated.
Listened to it, first comment is it went way too fast. You speak fast, which is probably ok for normal conversation but I found myself feeling as if I was being pushed rather than guided through the meditation. This was especially obvious in that there was no “build up” to why I want to meet my future self-what can she tell me?
I need to give it more thought, but off the top of my head this meditation seems like I’m making an attempt to know the unknown rather than learn to accept it….to dwell in the present and let the future unfold as it will. This is the purpose of meditation for me-i.e. to learn to live i
Do you have any response to this? I’d like to hear your thoughts. I’m trying to open my heart to as many forms of spiritual contemplation as possible and hear other practitioners feelings about them; anything yu’d like to share would be appreciated.
Sincerely
Kathie C.

Hi Kathie
Thanks for your feedback, I might speak too fast for an international audience, even a British audience. this is something I will think about,us Scottish people speak really fast.
I was also interested to read your comment about ‘no build up’. I didn’t really want a build up for this one as I wanted it to be spontaneous and find out what the results were.
I am experimenting with this so am still new to it, thanks again for your suggestions.

Stephen,
I just finished listening. First, than you! I’m smiling after the experience. What a nice journey. A suggestion: in addition to your ebook, you might want to professionally record some meditations like this. I would pay for it.
Comment by kamal on 15 April 2007:
Oops, a typo above. Meant to say “thank you.”
Comment by Steven Aitchison on 15 April 2007:
Hi Kamal, Thank you for your kind words, much appreciated. I am glad you got something from it. As I said earlier on I am new to this so it is not as professional as it could be.
Thanks again for your words.

Last week on my street we didn’t had electricity for 5 hours, and I’ve decided to mediate in this time, and I can say that I’ve found a lot of interesting things, with this method.I’ve asked a lot of questions to my future self, and I think this method is great.
Comment by Steven Aitchison on 26 April 2007:
Hi Michael, thank you for your comments I am so glad you liked the meditation and it has helped you.

Steven,
Since I happen to be on your blog (normally read it using a feeder), wanted to say that I hope you put up more of these guided meditations. As I mentioned in an earlier comment, I enjoyed it, and look forward to more.
Comment by Steven Aitchison on 5 May 2007:
Hi Kamal, I am going to do more meditations in the next month. I have been thinking about your comments about selling them. will keep you updated.

Steven:
I enjoyed the meditation. I would suggest that the pace and tempo of your voice be much slower. It should be 3 to 4 times longer than your first try at it. Allow yourself to use silence between your comments as a tool to relax and allow your listeners to use their own imagination to maximize the imagery of the walk in the woods.
Be patient and know that the listener wants to enjoy this walk and they’ll need alot more time to get into and explore the relationship with their future self.
Thank you.

I feel so relax. This is nice.
I decide to listen to this every morning.
Any recommendation on how to maximize the usage of this .mp3? (i.e. the time)
Thank you Steven.
God bless
