How can one know ones purpose is it like a willfull declaration of what one will achieve or a predestined fate which finds us nomatter what we do. Or is it intuition. What if you think you have a purpose but arent really sure of it. I've read books that suggest the voice (personality, not bearded man in the sky) that answers is soft, and you have to try hard to listen, but I think it's actually the wrong question.
