Beyond positive thinking
The Larry King Show
I managed to watch the Larry King show – ‘Beyond positive thinking’. His guests for the first of two shows were: Bob Proctor, John Assaraf, JZ Knight, Dr. Michael Beckwith, Dr. John Demartini.
The show itself was excellent and inspiring to me. However as I was watching the show it struck me that ‘The law of attraction’ is like a new religion. This is something I would hate for this to turn into. Religion turns a lot of people off, they don’t want the dogma, or the stigma attached to associating with a ‘new age religion’.
When I teach the ‘Law of attraction’ I do not preach, I hope I don’t force my beliefs onto other people. The people I teach are people who are drawn towards this type of thinking, the positive thinking revolution.
I believe it will take a few hundred years for this type of thinking to filter through the minds of the mass and because of this new way of thinking we are growing at an unbelievably fast rate; by we I mean the world. We can all tap into the new consciousness that is slowly forming.
I am so glad I am part of this and I am blessed that I am able to teach it and give some of the wisdom that I have learned from a whole host of people. The beginning for me was 17 years ago when I read ‘Think and grow Rich’ by Napoleon Hill.
The second part of the show is being aired on the 16th November. I believe there is a copy of the first part floating about the net, if anybody wants the link let me know via e-mail and I will send the link.

Good post! I found your site by looking at my blog stats and browsing around the Technorati website where one visitor came via my Larry King tag and a post about Joe Vitale. My husband is a hypnotherapist and he’s helped me a lot. Very similar attitude to yours, man.
(FYI, my blog is not for young children or those squeamish about blunt speech.)
I’ve bookmarked your site so I can come back and read more at my leisure, looks really good and I love the clean design, man! Have a good one!

I have actually been to Dr. Michael Beckwirth’s “church,” Agape. (http://agapelive.com) I was extremely skeptical at first, but actually enjoyed myself and found it to be the least dogmatic and most progressive place of worship I have ever been to.
It is trans-denominational meaning that he invites people of all faiths without asking them to renounce theirs for his. He does very little preaching and spends more time leading meditation and celebration. It is not quite a “church” but yet not a “new age” religion either.
I know that religion is something that divides us Americans from Europeans. We are even becoming more secular every day, but I think that this type of open minded spirituality is just the kind of common ground the world needs.
Thank you for your comment on my blog. I enjoyed finding yours and subscribed as a result.
Ironically, I just finished a lengthly post on religion vs. science that seems relevant to this conversation. It will be posted by the end of the week and I’ll let you know when it’s up.

I missed the Nov 2nd Larry King show on Law of Attraction “beyond positive thinking” and am wondering if anyone could share a link where I may get a copy before the 16th. I am attending one of James Ray’s seminars in February. Very excited about this new way of thinking!
thanks!

Here is the transcript: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0611/02/lkl.01.html
You might also contact Joe Vitale at http://www.mrfire.com — I subscribe to his newsletter, which is how I found out about the show. Robert and I missed it also, being away on a mini-honeymoon when it aired.
We just got married October 21st! And we both have 11/11 birthdays and are exactly 11 years apart, cool, huh? There’s another thing about 11:11 Oneness Minute at: http://www.onenessminute.org/ if anyone’s interested. I think it’s pretty cool, stopping and reflecting for a moment and 11:11 is fairly easy to remember, so it’s a good campaign (I get their newsletter as well).
Good luck with the transcript, I’m sure we’d like to know if there’s a video version out there, as Robert really wanted to see it too.

Hi Jennifer, thanks for the comments and congratulations on your recent marriage, and happy birthday to you both tomorrow.
Hi Brian, I think Michael Beckwith has a great energy around him when he speaks of his passion to help people.

I watched the 2nd part of the Larry King program on the secret. This is not new information to me as I have been a member of Unity church for a few years now and also have read many of Dr Wayne Dyers books.
My life has become more injoyable, my relationships are more fulfilling and I have also expierenced financial gains due to changing my thoughts.
I think that the world would change if more people would open their minds to the power we all have within us.
What are your thoughts on Dr Dyers teachings?
Comment by Steven Aitchison on 17 November 2006:
Hi Lynn
I have read a few of Wayne Dyer’s books and I have found them very thought provoking. The most recent one was ‘Intentions’. I have seen him speak on TV and find him to be very intelligent and a very intersting person.
I have not seen the 2nd part of the show, I am hoping I will find it on Google video in the next few days.
I think the world is starting to wake up but it will take time.

Do you happen to have the second part of Larry King Live with The Secret?
I really did appreciate seeing the first one on your site. If you have it could you tell me where to go to see it on-line.
Thank you.

The Law of Attraction reveals The Secret to Everything we ever wanted… Ever since the world found out about the Law of Attraction through the phenomenon of the movie,
people from every corner of the globe have been asking Bob Proctor for more. The Answer is a Simple One There is an Exact Science to Applying the Law of Attraction to
Build the Life we Seek. Well we have seen the Movie, Now Live the Philosophy and Claim the Wealth the Universe Has Always Had Waiting for us. Millions of people are
already using the Law of Attraction to make their lives successful. It is no longer a secret, but a household term that is rightfully being given the attention it deserves.
We can also learn how to use the “Law of Attraction” to create whatever we want in life - be it money, love or happiness - and generate abundance.
Well like with Everything that’s coming into your life you are attracting into your life. And it’s attracted by virtue of the images you’re holding in your mind. It’s what
you’re thinking. Whatever is going on in your mind you are attracting to you.
Few deeper things on this matter:)
Warmly
Thor
